Chocolate chip cookies

Nothing smells or tastes better than homemade chocolate chip cookies!

Ingredients
1 cup flour

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp corn syrup

4 oz butter

1 tsp vanilla

1/3 cup brown sugar

1/3 cup white sugar

1 egg

1 cup chocolate chips

Method
Beat both sugars with the butter until creamy. Add the egg and vanilla and corn syrup.

In a bowl combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Slowly add these dry ingredients to the wet. Add chocolate chips.

Bake at 375 for 12-15 minutes

Excellent and easy recipe. 2 suggestions: one, pre- heat the oven at least for 15 mins. Two, put the mix on the refrigerator for 20 mins before you make the cookies balls

the corn syrup isnt actually needed i used this recipe twice one with and one without they both taste exactly the same ... gorgeous ..

What could be used to replace the corn syrup? I live in Mexico and here it's not very common use.
