  • 4 people
  • Rice pudding:
  • 1 cup water
  • 60 g Pudding Rice
  • 400 ml milk
  • The two sticks vanilla from below
  • 100 g almonds
  • grain from 2 sticks vanilla
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 400 ml liter whipping cream
  • Warm cherry sauce
Bring water to boil in a heavy-based saucepan. Sprinkle the rice into the boiling water, stirring, and cook for approx. 2 min. Add milk and vanilla sticks. Bring to a boil while stirring. Cook the porridge on low heat with a lid, ca. 35 min. Stir occasionally. Cool the porridge.
Stir rice pudding, vanilla seeds, sugar and chopped almonds together. Whip the cream to a light foam and fold it gently into the porridge. Put in the fridge for a few hours. Serve with warm cherry sauce
The dessert is served on Christmas Eve, which also has a whole almond in the porridge. Whoever gets the almond will get an additional gift, an almond-gift
