As you can see they make great icecream sandwiches, but they are also wonderful with coffee.
125g softened butter
1/2 cup vanilla caster sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbls milk
1 3/4 cups self raising flour
1/4 cup cocoa
1 cup dark chocolate bits
Sift flour & cocoa together, stir in choc bits.
Beat butter with sugars until well creamed, add egg & milk & beat 30 seconds.
Add flour mix, and beat until just combined.
Roll tbls of mixture into balls, place on lined trays & flatten slightly.
Bake at 180 degrees C for 8 minutes. Cool 2 minutes on tray.
Transfer to racks to cool completely.
