Prepare Cream Cheese Batter: Beat cheese, 1 egg, sugar, salt, flour and vanilla. Set aside.
Chocolate Walnut Batter: Beat 2 eggs until light; add sugar, baking powder, salt and flour. Blend in cooled chocolate, nuts and vanilla.
Spread ½ of chocolate batter in greased/floured 9"x9" square pan. Then, spread cream cheese mix evenly over chocolate layer. Spoon on large dollops of chocolate batter over cheese layer Zigzag with knife to create marble layers.
Bake in 350°F for 35-40 minutes. Toothpick should come out clean when inserted in centre of pan or until brownies pull away from sides of pan. Cut into 2" squares (makes 16-20)
Hint: Line baking pan completely with parchment paper for minimal cleanup.
