Really, really Fast Food!
Ingredients
Method
If you don\'t have that much time to prepare your meal, but you really want something nice, here there is a very simply recipe of a Spanish omelette.
Ingredients for two people:
2 little crisp packets (plain)
2 eggs
A bit of salt, it depends on how much salt you would like (because the crisps can be very salty!)
A tablespoon of olive oil
Preparation:
Whisk the eggs in a bowl. Add the crisps (and the salt) and wait about 5 minutes, leaving time to the crisps to \'re-hydrate\'.
Heat a little pan (maximum heat), add the oil and then the mix. With a wooden fork keep stirring for 30 seconds, lower the temperature to minimum. Now you either fold the tortilla (like a French omelette) or turn it upside down using a plate to help.
Feel free to add any other ingredients to the mix; eg.: tuna, cheese, ham...
For you English even chilies!
¡Qué aproveche!,
Irene

Spanish omelett with crisps? arggg... bad idea!!
This is a Ferran Adrià idea. It's quik and works great as an starter but not as good as an original spanish tortilla. And I do think crisps have a perfect place en decent food as long as you don't abuse.
I'd rather have a plain omelette - crisps have no place in decent food.
