it can be served as a main dish but as a main course as well
350 grams of cauliflower
1i big onion
2 cups of extra virgin olive oil
for the chyle
5 table sp flour(all purpose)
1/2 tea sp salt,1/2 tea sp dry basil,1/4 tea sp,oregano,1/8 tea sp pepper and 1/4 tea sp dry soda
First of all,you have to boil the cauliflower.So boil it for 10 minutes in salted water.Do not boil it more.Keep it aside and let it be cold.
Prepare the chyle. Add the flour in a utensil and mix it with the other ingredients, using a spoon. In the end add the water(as much as it needs to make a thick chyle). Take care to make a thick enough chyle.Do not make it liquid...
Set the pieces of the cauliflower inside the chyle, and let them \"rest\" for 10-15 minutes. You can put them in the fridge, but its ok if you keep them out of it.
Heat the oil, and fry them in medium to low fire...till their color turns brownish.
PS...to fry the onion slices ,there is no need to boil them. The onion slices can be fried raw.
Serve them with lemon juice and sprinkle sea salt on top.Decorate the dish with parsley.
