Sieve flour in a bowl, add sugar and make a well.
Pour in tepid milk and add crumbled yeast.
Cover and put in a warm place to let rise for 15 min.
Add butter, salt, egg, (vanilla sugar, lemon zest, raisins) and knead very well until the dough peels away from your hands and the bowl.
Cover and put in a warm place again to rise to double size for about one hour.
Now plait the dough the way you like it to do. :)
Put on baking tray with a sheet of baking paper diagonally as the dough will rise again. Brush the plaited bun with the egg yolk and sprinkle with flaked almonds if you like.
Put in the cold oven and set temperature to 180°C. Bake for about 45 min.
