Ginger Ba Ba

My sis sent me this recipe from Sydney. I used to love Mr Kipling Ginger Cake when I was a kid and this is just like it...but better!

Ingredients
1• Butter 125g
2• Brown Sugar 150g
3• Eggs 2
4• Sugar Syrup 50ml
5• SR Flour 300g
6• Baking Powder, a half tsp
7• Ground Ginger 4 tsp plus 1 inch of grated root ginger...
8• Cinnamon 1 tsp
9• Milk 150ml

Method
Cooking by numbers...
Cream 1 & 2 until soft...beat in 3. one at a time..beat in 4.
Gradually stir in 5,6,7 & 8 with 9
When well mixed, pour into a well buttered, shallow baking tray (about 150mm x 200)
Heat oven to 180C and bake for 45 minutes.
Remove and allow to cool before turning out and cutting into cubes...
Eat with a nice cup of tea...lovely

Thanks Sis...
