Gloucester Cheese and Ale.

Gloucester Cheese and Ale.

Food and drink are combined for a filling snack.

Ingredients
Double Gloucester cheese - 175 g (6 oz), thinly sliced.
Colemans English mustard - 1 tsp, Brown ale - 125 ml (4 fl oz).
White/Wholemeal Bread - 4 thick slices, toasted.

Method
1. Preheat oven to 190C / 375F / Gas 5.
2. Arrange the cheese slices in the base of a shallow ovenproof dish. Spread the mustard over them.
3. Cover the cheese with the brown ale, then cover the dish with foil.
Bake for 10 minutes until the cheese has softened.
4.Pour the warm ale and cheese over the toast and serve immediately.
