HOME-MADE HALVAS

Ingredients
TRADITIONAL SWEET

Method
VERY EASY VERY FAST AND TASTY

thick semolina -2cups
1 cup olive oil
4 cups water
3 cups sugar
1 cinnamon stick - if you wish you may use also walnuts and raisins

you heat oil in the pot
put semolina and mix WELL with wooden spatula
till its a bit sauteed
in another pot you put the water n sugar and cinnamon stick and make the sipu -bring it just before it boils- you take it and add it to semolina stirring carefully turn heat off put into cake tins baking tins and cover with towel and leave to absorb sirup
best if left over night to become a bit solid....then just serve ...sliced...(thick)
