A Heart Healthy Mutil-Grain Pasta and Vegetable Recipe that is easy to prepare and delicious.
Cook Pasta according to directions. While Pasta is cooking sauté Onion and Garlic in Olive Oil about 5 minutes. Add Carrots and sauté another 5 minutes. Add Zucchini, Mushrooms, and Diced Tomatoes. Add spices. Simmer 15-20 minutes. Add Chopped Walnuts in the last 5 minutes of cooking. Serve over cooked, drained pasta. Top with Parmesan cheese. Makes 4 servings.
