chop onion and fry in a little oil with the bacon until bacon has started to crisp
put lid on pan and cook for about 15 mins low heat
while they are cooking deseed chillies and finely chop
add to the pan and stir
add salt and pepper
put lid back on and cook for afurther 10 mins
take lid off add a knob of butter and just let them finish off for five mins
place in serving bowl and allow guests to help themselves
