Indoor cooked BBQ chicken marinated in mayonnaise (oil free)

This recipe works best when using the in-door BBQ for gas cooker which can be purchased from bbq4gascooker.com website.

Ingredients
• 8 chicken pieces
• 2 medium size onions
• full fat mayonnaise (2-3 tb.sp.)
• seasoning (salt, pepper, paprika)

Method
To prepare the chicken:
Season the chicken with salt, pepper and a pinch of red paprika. Place the chicken pieces in a bowl and add chopped onion and mayonnaise. Rub the mayonnaise and onion all over the chicken pieces so they are well coated. Cover with plastic wrapping film and leave it to marinate in the fridge under some pres for a couple of hours.
To cook the chicken:
Remove the onion bits from the surface of the chicken pieces. Place the chicken on the grill of the BBQ pan, cover with the lid and cook for 25 minutes without opening the lid. Tip: Grill the chicken on the medium fire, so it has a chance to cook before it crisps up. Reduce the fire until small and cook the chicken pieces for another 10 min (the lid should remain closed during this time).
