Iranian Cutlet

This can be served warm or cold, at home or in picnic (as a sandwich).

Ingredients
Ingredient :
200 gr minced meat
400 gr potato
2 eggs
1 medium onion
Turmeric 1 ½ tbsp
Cinnamon 1 tbsp
Salt and pepper

Method
Cook the potatoes. Then, grate them. Grate the onion as well and take out its water after grating (this will make kotlets collapsed if added to the mixture). Then mix meat, onion, potatoes and eggs and operate them with hand until well combined. Heat the oil in a pan. Put some bread crumbs in a plate near to you. Take small amount of the mixture like a ball and roll it in the bread crumbs, then shape it in your hand (can make it as a circle). Place in the hot oil to fry on one side. When it gets golden, turn to the other side. Serve with tomato, fresh herbs and pickles.

I once went to an Iranian/German wedding and most of the food was made by the Iranian side of the family - it was absolutely amazing! Struggle to find any Iranian recipes online (in English!) so will definitely give this one a go.
