Lamb shanks in honey and soy

Ingredients
4 lamb shanks (foreleg)
1/3 cup honey
1/3 beef stock
1/3 cup soy sauce

Method
Mix liquids together and pour over lamb in a baking dish, cover and cook for 2 to 3 hours at 160C until tender, turn every 1/2 hour, remove cover during last half hour. Try to remember to make something to go with it.

If you want them for an early lunch, but wish to sleep in, then marinate them the day before, turning as mentioned and then cook in slow cooker on low overnight and just finish them off in oven for 20 mins on 190 to make them all sticky, dark and deceptively delicious!!

Sounds lovely I think I will add some garlic too - does anyone know if you can cook it for longer than 6 hours?

I've made this a number of times and it's great! My only addition is a couple of cloves of crushed/sliced garlic. Honey, soy and garlic .... classic flavour combination :)

This dish took 2 minutes to prepare. I put it in my slow cooker for 6 hours. Turninging as advised. Tasted sentational. I would highly recommend this dish!

Very easy yet it just tastes delicious!

And i thought lamb shanks couldn't be created better than what god himself did, then you go and add some honey and soy, mmmm perfection :)
