-a clean mason jar
-2 cup whipping cream (35%)
Put you cream into the mason jar, close the lid and shake it for 30 minutes. After 16 minutes the cream isgoing to be so thick that it will be difficult to continue, but don;t give up a few more minutes and it will loosen up. Near teh end you will see the butter separated form the milk and all you have to do is pass it througha strainer, and there you are, butter! Add salt at the end if you want savoury.
