Considering that for several years i live ner Mediterranean sea i decided to share another recipe \"SECRET\" :))I made this recipe many times with great success among my guests.
Ingredients
1 pc Octopus ABOUT 500gr \"Fishing in the Mediterranean or if not directly from the supermarket :)
1 kg potatoes
1 lemon
Parsley - 150 gr
extra virgin olive oil - 75 ml
Method
Take an octopus, if living clean well and washed, and if frozen thaw and rinse under cold water. After the octopus has been previously thawed and washed well, take a wooden beater and start to squeeze well for 10 min to become softer flesh. It takes some of the parsley and chop finely then put into a pot of water to boil, to which add a little salt.
After the water is boil, take the octopus and sink easily 3 times in boiling water until the octopus shrinks . The third time let all in boil water and wait for 35 or 45 minutes depending on how big octopus and most importantly during boiling do not use spoons or metal objects.
After 35 or 45 minutes of boiling turn off heat and let the cover put another 20 minutes without touch.
In another bowl put the cooked potatoes, peeled and diced not too small. Keep potatoes miss fire so as not to become too soft.
Take the lemon and squeeze well then separately mixed with olive oil until smooth. (This sauce is used for seasoning octopus and potatoes after they have been put on shelf)
After another 20 minutes left in the water octopus remove it and place on platter with boiled potatoes, over which sprinkle a little chopped parsley and last but not least do not forget to pour over the octopus sauce lemon and olive oil.
have a great meal!!
