This recipe is half italian and half greek.Combine cereals with carboydrates and vegetable so it gives you a perfectly balanced dish.
Ingredients
Lentils
Carrots
Celery
Parsley
Garlic
Red peppers
Onions
Canned tomatoes
salt pepper
chilly if you like
some kind of short pasta or rice
oil at the end
Method
Put your lentils in a pan with water to cover them generously,add all the vegetables chopped in small pieces and let cook for about 45 minutes(it depends on the quality of the lentils,so taste from time to time).When the lentils are ready add pasta or rice,let it cook and at the end add 1 or 2 spoons of oil, a sprinkle of parsley and enjoy! Confort and easy food for winter days.
