Pasta with turnip

Turnip , peeled and cut in thin slices
Thyme or Rosemary
Heat olive oil, add the turnip slices, then chillies (without seeds) - or leave them out if you dont want it hot, fry till turnip turns a bit brown, then add garlic and rosemary or thyme so it doesnt burn.
Whilst roasting the turnip, cook pasta (I used fussili).
When everything is cooked, mix together and pour some freshly grated parmesan over the pasta.
Maybe Jamie would add other ingredients -I just wanted to make something else with turnip than the usual mash and tried that version which I liked. Unfortunately I dont get turnip in Germany and have to take it along from Scotland whenever I go there.
