  • Crumble:
  • 1 1/2 cup Corn Flakes
  • 1 1/2 Cup Shredded coconut (sweetened or not)
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Filling:
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 10 pears (Bartlett) cut into slices
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
Preheat oven 350F or 180C Crumble: In a bowl mix together all the dry ingredients. Ad the condensed milk and vanilla mix well and reserve Filling: In a big bowl mix the brown sugar and flour. Add the pears and the lemon juice. Mix well. Butter a 13x9" pan and spread the pears and top up with the crumble. Bake for about 35 minutes or until golden. Serve warm with Ice cream or custard
