Ingredients
250g strong plain flour
150ml warm water approx.
1 and a half tsp easy blend
yeast
1 tsp salt
3 tsp sugar
1 tsp olive oil
Method
1.Sift the flour, yeast, salt and sugar into a bowl. Make a well in the centre and pour in the olive oil and water. Combine to make a dough, adding more water or flour if needed. Knead on a lightly floured surface for 10 minutes until smooth.
Wrap in clingfilm and leave to rest for at least 30 minutes.
2.Preheat oven to 230C. Place a baking tray inside the oven to heat up. Cut the dough into 6 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball. Cover with a clean tea
towel to prevent the dough drying out. Roll each ball into an oval shape, in 2 batches of 3 each, and bake on the baking tray for 8-10 minutes until puffed up
and slightly browned.
