just a quick and easy supper lunch snack, a snack to eat in the garden with a light beer. Definately a meal for under 15 mins and a fiver!!!!
Ingredients
6 small pitta breads
iceberg lettuce thinly sliced 100gr
cheddar cheese grated 100gr
mayonaise 6TBspoons
chunky diced bacon 75gr
Method
toast the pittas with a 3 inch opening in them
add a spoonfull of mayo inside, then a handfull of lettuce
top with a spoonfull of diced bacon and place in an oven dish
do this with all the pittas, cover them with the grated cheddar and place under the grill till the cheese is melted and bubblying a little.
we like to add a drop of tabasco.
