Beautifully flavored salmon fillet with melted cheese and wrapped with prosciutto and served with cheddar cheese and prawns farfalle.
Ingredients
For the Salmon:
4 salmon fillets - 200gr each
4 slices of prosciutto
4 slices of cheddar cheese
2 Coleman\'s horseradish sauce
a pinch of salt
a pinch of black pepper
juice from half a lime
For the pasta:
300 gr farfalle
200 gr cheddar cheese grated
190 gr cooked prawns
2 teaspoons of white flour
2 cloves garlic
1 pinch of hot paprika
1 teaspoon of olive oil
1 teaspoon of butter
200 gr of double cream
a few parsil leaves
Method
Prosciutto and cheddar cheese wrapped salmon:
Make a sauce out of: salt, pepper, lime juice, and horseradish sauce and spread it evenly on the salmon fillets.
Wrap each seasoned fillet in a slice of cheddar cheese, and then in a slice of prosciutto and place them in baking tray - with some olive oil.
Pre heat the oven at 175 C degrees, and bake the fish for 12-15 minutes.
Cheddar and prawns farfel:
Boil 2 litres of water with a pinch of salt. When the water is boiling add the pasta and boil according to the packaging.
Separately heat the olive oil together with the butter in a pan.
Add the minced garlic cloves and the paprika and sauté everything for 2 minutes. Add the prawns and sauté another 3 minutes.
Add the cream, the cheese and 1 teaspoon of flour. Let it simmer for 3 minutes. If the sauce is to thin add the other teaspoon of flour.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Put the salmon wrap on a plate, add the pasta (after it\'s drained and washed with cold water), put two or 3 tablespoons of the prawn sauce over the pasta and garnish with some fresh basil leaves.
Serves 4.
