Ingredients

Ingredients
Method

  • 3 Cups Raw Cream
  • 2 Egg Yolks
  • 1/2 Cup Agave Nectar
  • 2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
Just to clarify, when you purchase raw milk, you get a product that has not been tampered with. So all the butterfat of the milk rises to the top... To make this ice cream you must extract the cream from the milk, by hand... A much more enjoyable experience! Anyways: Whisk all of the ingredients together in a bowl (I'll usually use a 10 cup pyrex mixing/pouring bowl). Now I've got an electric ice cream maker, but any variation of an ice cream maker will suffice. Turn the ice cream maker on, and pour in your mixture. Let it mix for roughly 10 to 15 minutes, until you can clearly see the mixture turn into ice crystals, or ice cream! At that point I'll transfer the soft serve ice cream into a bowl and put it into the freezer for an hour. Once it's hardened up, scoop it into a bowl, and sprinkle pistachios on top, and then drizzle on a spoon full of Buckwheat honey. If you haven got buckwheat honey available, opt for some raw honey instead, just put a few dabs on top!
