This is a fresh, delicious & quick meal plan that has much flexibility & potential for variability: switch out fresh veggies or add more, try seared tuna or sauteed shrimp instead of salmon. Importantly, this recipe is not expensive. We shop at our local Asian food market for our ingredients.
Ingredients
1 salmon steak
bunch cilantro
sliced carrots
sliced red bell pepper
bean sprouts
spring roll wrappers
soy sauce
sweet chili sauce
salt & pepper
Method
Season your salmon steak with salt and pepper, & bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes or so. Slice against the grain. Finely slice your carrots and bell pepper. Tear off a big healthy handful of cilantro.
Dip your spring roll wrap in warm/hot water for a couple of seconds, and put on a plate to add your ingredients. Add your fish, carrots, pepper & sprouts, and finish with a healthy handful of cilantro. Roll your wrapper up like a burrito. That\'s it!!!!
We like to dip ours in soy sauce or sweet chili sauce. With extra time, make your own sweet chili sauce, recipes abound on line.
Enjoy!!!!!
