Salmon with clams

I made this delicious salmon dinner for christmas eve. It was incredible! I got so many compliments on it during dinner and after that I guess this will be a family favorite.
2 lb• thick salmon fillets
1 lb• clams
½ lb• mushroom caps washed and sliced.
1 cup butter
1 cup milk
juice of 1 lemon
½ cup white wine
½ tsp Salt
½ tsp pepper
Add salt to salmon filets and soak in milk and the juice of ½ a lemon for at least 2 hours.
Melt the butter in a skillet and saute the sliced mushrooms along with the clams.
When the mushrooms have released their juices, add the white wine.
When they are done, add the other half lemon juice and pepper.
Drain the salmon steaks, pour a little olive oil over them and grill at a very high temperature until golden, turning when half done.
Arrange the fillets in a serving dish and add the clams and mushrooms.
