Smoked tuna gnocchi

If you fancy a change from the typical meat sauce then this smoked fish sauce will surprise you, it\'s neithr too strong not too rich. The cream softens the flavour but also makes the gnocchi really lush.

Ingredients
4 med Smoked tuna fillets (or any smoked fish)

1 med spring onion

100ml tomato passata

100ml fresh cream

chilli to your taste

teaspoon sugar

no need to add salt as fish is pretty salty

Method
chop onion and sweat in a pan, add the fillets of fish and stir till they turn pink and start to crumble, when it\'s all soft add the chilli and sweat for a couple of minutes. This is where if you are daring you could add a small glass of wine.
Add the tomato and if it\'s acidy add a teaspoon of sugar. Simmer for 10 min at a med heat. Add cream and simmer for another 10 mins.

When it\'s reduced and looks thick and creamy turn off the heat and serve on top of some freshly made gnocchi.
