Stir Fry Chicken

Ingredients
600g Chicken Strips
1 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Grated Ginger
2 Cloves Garlic
1 Carrot, Thinly Sliced
½ Green Capsicum, Thinly Sliced
2 Small Sticks Celery, Thinly Sliced
2 Shallots, Chopped
200g Snow Peas
½ Cup Oyster/Soy Sauce
100g Button Mushrooms, Sliced

Method
1. Heat half oil in a frying pan or wok, stir fry chicken strips, garlic & ginger 3 minutes. Remove. Heat remaining oil.

2. Stir fry vegetables 2 minutes. Return chicken strips etc. Stir in Oyster/Soy Sauce.

3. Heat through 2-3 minutes.

4. You could also add some egg noodles if so cook as per the packet.

can anyone please specify the recipe methods clearly and when to put egg noodles in?? =)) thank you! it will help me alot in my upcoming practical test..im gonna cook this!

quick meal, really good but even with the low sodium soy sauce it was a bit too salty. the ginger is a must, had never used it before it was great. I would use more garlic as well.

next time i will take the time to do rice, i was in a hurry. i think that would have helped take up the soy sauce.

To TRY answer to the first poster:

600 g of chicken would be about 21 oz of chicken...about a pound and a half of chicken.
200 g of Snow peas..would be about 7 oz of snow peas.

Just figure 28.35 grams every ounce. And there is 16 oz in every pound.

Get a digital scale and that would help alot!
