This beverage is developed from wedang jahe, a Javanese traditional ginger tea. Dead simple yet powerful to expel cold. Save (and share it) for a rainy day!
Ingredients
600 ml fresh milk
2 tablespoons sliced ginger
1 teaspoon cloves
5 cm cinnamon
1½ tablespoon palm sugar
1½ tablespoons honey
Method
1. In a saucepan, put milk with the rest of the ingredients. Bring to boil in simmer heat, for about 30 minutes.
2. Drain the remnants, add honey.
Yield 2 serves.
