This very tasty soup provides a perfect combination of the bean and lettuce with the pork enriched with dill and has an unmistakable flavor and scent which will make you to repeat the experience it once after you’ve tried it.
Ingredients
2 pork spare ribs (per person)
half glass of dry beans
2-3 cloves of garlic
some dill
milk, flour
Method
The preparation of the soup starts 3-4 hours before you actually start the cooking. Wash the beans and put them in 1 liter of water just to stay there and soften. Now continue with your daily activities, and check back to the beans from time to time to see if they need water or not (yes, dry beans need a lot of water). After (minimum) 3 hours have passed the bean should be somewhat softer and you can start preparing the soup.
Firstly boil some water and drop the cleaned spare ribs in, and leave there for 1-2 minutes, throw away the water. Start boiling 2-3 liters of cold water, put in the ribs and the beans (without the water they stayed in) with some salt and let it boil for 2-3 hours till the beans are cooked entirely, they have to be soft.
Now clean the lettuce, cut the leaves in small pieces, put them in the soup. Add the dill (and some garlic if you like it) too and cook it for 5-10 minutes. Prepare a mixture of 1-2 teaspoons of flour and half a glass of milk. Add some vinegar in this mixture and mix well with the soup.
Let it cook for another 10 minutes and finally you can enjoy a very tasty soup. Don’t forget to add salt and vinegar according to your taste.
