Tuna Mayonnaise

My daughter\'s favourite tuna mayo - good for sandwiches, dips, or on baked potatoes. Quick and easy to make.

Ingredients
4 - 5 sping onions/scallions

1 tin tuna chunks in brine (line caught when possible)

3 tbspns plain yoghurt

1 tbspn mayonnaise (optional)

freshly ground black pepper

Method
Finely slice the spring onions into a bowl. Add the drained tuna and the black pepper. Add the yoghurt and mayonnaise if using, and mix well. Serve as desired.

Sally, Joel: it may sound silly but I've just made this. and it's the best tuna mayo I've ever tasted!! So don't knock it until you've tried it!

I would like to find how to make a tuna paté but there isnt one on this site, you would all think that Jamie would do one but NO! Any another thing like Sally said how can this be called tuna mayonnaise (the actual basis of this sauce) be optional???!!!!

I'm disappointed. How can mayonnaise (the actual basis of this sauce) be optional. This may be a great sauce but it isn't tuna mayonnaise.

Great recipe. I added a squeeze of lemon juice, a decent pinch of salt and a small amount of chopped Scotch Bonnet chillie to kick it up a bit!
