This savory is very tasty and you can make it for parties and for your afternoon tea. Here in Brazil we inherited from the Arabian and modified a little bit.
Ingredients
200 grs chaff of wheat
100 grs minced soy meat
2 tps dry red chillies
2 tsp tumeric powder
2 tsp salt
3 tbs white flour
10 mint leaves
oil for frying
Method
Add some water to the chaff and leave it for 1 hour till it double the size. Do the same with the soy meat.
After drain the water in both and put in a large bow, add the spicies and the flour.
Make balls or the format you wish and fry in heated oil.
In about 3 minutes frying will be ready to be served.
Serve with lemon and maybe a chutney.
Decorate with mint leaves.

sounds simple and nourishing, but what is chaff wheat---bran? or kibbled wheat?
