Ingredients
Pastry ingredients
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking power
1 teaspoon salt
2/3 vegetal oil
1/4 cold water
For filling
200 gr• nuts
3 eggs
300 gr• honey bee
1 cup sugar or less
vainilla
Method
Pastry
Put all ingredients together except water then add water more or less as you need, don\'t work the pastry too much.
For filling
Mix all together for 2 minutes. Bake the tart for 40 minutes

Hi - I had the walnut tart in Jamie's Italian in Bristol last week and it was superb. I don't think it was polenta - just the grainieness of the ground nuts. I'm going to try it with pecans too. Scrummy
Great filling, but when we went to Jamie Oliver's in Oxford last week the walnut tart had the most amazing slightly granular base, which I think contained polenta??? It certainly wasn't a pastry base. Any ideas anyone, please, as it was simply the best tart base we have ever had. Thanks Jamie! x V&S
