In case you don´t have that, take a jar of apple puree, should be about 500 to 700 ml.
This is one of the quick-and-easy-recipies, go for it, it´s lovely, especially when it´s still slightly warm with a spoonfull of whipped cream or double cream. Mmmmmh!
Put all the ingredients for the dough in a bowl and mix it with a fork until you´ve got crumbles. You can use a hand mixer if you like, but it´s not necessary.
Take a round cake pan of 26 or 28 cm in diameter, butter it and put about 2/3 of the dough into it, squash it in lightly with your hands and form a little rim all around so the apple compote won´t touch the cake pan later.
Bake it for 10 minutes, take it out of the oven and spread the apple compote on top.
Mix the rest of the dough with the almonds, make sure it´s still crumbly.
Spread the crumbled rest of the dough on top of the cake and bake it for another 30 minutes.
