FOR THE PEARS
under ripe pears = 3
butter = 25g
granulated sugar = 1 table spoon
FOR THE CAKE
butter = 150g
caster sugar = 125g
eggs = 2
self- raising flour = 75g
Pre-heat oven at 170įc and line a loaf tin with baking paper. core peel and peal the pear. in a frying pan melt the butter and sugar, when its bubbling add the pears. and fry of about 5 minuets turning often. then when they are cooked leave to cool in the toffee juice.
In a bowl cream together the sugar and butter until pail and fluffy. Then add the egg and flour to the mixture a little at a time then when it is all combined beat the mixture well and transfer it into the tin.
Arrange the pears on top of the cake with a little of the toffee juice then place in the oven for 45 minuets. this cake is a moist cake so don\\\'t think you have done anything wrong.
