Perfect for when you crave something sweet or have unexpected guests and don´t want to spend too much time in the kitchen! Serve it on the pizza tray, will defo get you some laughs!

Ingredients
puff pastry (enough for a pizza tray with 28 cm in diameter)
500 g (1/2 liter) custard
2 apples, roughly grated
2 tblsp• coarse sugar
3 tblsp• almond flakes

Method
Pre-heat the oven to 200°C.

Lay the puff pastry out on the pizza tray, make sure there is a rim so the custard won´t be able to flow out.

Mix the custard (warm or cold) with the apples and pour it on the puff pastry, smooth the surface.

Sprinkle the coarse sugar, then the almond flakes on top and bake it in the oven for about 25 minutes, depending on your oven. Best is to check from 20 minutes onwards.

Serve slightly warm with ice cream or cooled off with single cream or just the way it is. The custard might still be a bit runny when eating it warm!
