Ingredients
225 g butter
225 g sugar
6 eggs
25 g vanilla sugar
1 pinch of salt
400 g flour
3 teasp baking powder
100 g grinded almonds or hazelnuts
3 schnapsglasses amaretto
grapes, cut in halves (how much you like)
sugar
Method
Preheat the oven (190°C)
Mix the soft butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla sugar and salt until itīs creamy and the sugar has all dissolved.
Sieve the flour and add the baking powder and almonds/hazelnuts, mix it.
Carefully fold the flour in the above mixture.
Add the amaretto and stir it carefully and as short as possible. You might not need all of it, depends on how fluid the dough is because of the size of the eggs.
Pour the dough onto a baking tray, put the grape halves on top and push them lightly in the dough so itīs an even surface. Pour a tiny bit of sugar over the whole cake and bake it in the oven for about 30 minutes (the sugar makes the grapes caramelise a bit).
When itīs finished take it out of the oven and immediately pour some sugar over it.
