Ingredients

Ingredients
Method

  • 225 g butter
  • 225 g sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 25 g vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 400 g flour
  • 3 teasp. baking powder
  • 100 g grinded almonds or hazelnuts
  • 3 schnapsglasses amaretto
  • grapes, cut in halves (how much you like)
  • sugar
Preheat the oven (190°C)
Mix the soft butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla sugar and salt until it´s creamy and the sugar has all dissolved.
Sieve the flour and add the baking powder and almonds/hazelnuts, mix it.
Carefully fold the flour in the above mixture.
Add the amaretto and stir it carefully and as short as possible. You might not need all of it, depends on how fluid the dough is because of the size of the eggs.
Pour the dough onto a baking tray, put the grape halves on top and push them lightly in the dough so it´s an even surface. Pour a tiny bit of sugar over the whole cake and bake it in the oven for about 30 minutes (the sugar makes the grapes caramelise a bit).
When it´s finished take it out of the oven and immediately pour some sugar over it.
