  • pieces of hare for stews and soups
  • 1 onion
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 celery if you like
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • some tomato sauce
  • vegetable stock
fry the hare pieces all around when they are brown add the veggies cut into big chunks and cook some more add salt, a couple of tablespoons tomato sauce and cover with vegetable stock let simmer on a low heat for 2 hours without a lid so the veggie stock reduces to sauce when the meat is soft, turn off the heat, then "cut" with a mixer into a meat sauce YUM!!
