Pat the cod pieces in white flour, put some oil into a large pan with garlic cloves, lay the fish in one layer in it, add some butter flakes, salt, some parsley, put the pan on the fire and add milk and water to cover the fish. Put a lid on and let it simmer for at least 1 hour.
Meanwhile yo have your time to cook a thick yellow polenta to go with it.
