I never thought of posting this recipy until we had someone on the forum complaining that she doesnīt have enough time to cook. So I thought Iīd post this to proove itīs not true. It doesnīt take more than a minute to mix it all together, to cook the pasta or whatever this sauce is meant to be served with, is taking longer. You can use this sauce as a base for different pasta-dishes, but you can also make double the portion, place some chicken breast fillets in it (should be fully covered, some mozzarella on top and bake it in the oven. Many lovely meals you can cook based on a quick tomato sauce!
400 g tinned tomatoes of good quality
1,5 tsp salt
0,5 tsp pepper
1 tsp sugar
1 tblsp olive oil
1 tblsp white balsamic vinegar or white wine vinegar
1 tblsp mixed herbs
1 clove of garlic, chopped finely
Pour all the ingredients in a pot and slowly heat up until itīs gently bubbling. Add some spices or herbs if necessary.
