this is a simple and flavour dish... for a good result you can keep the wild rice in cold water for a few hours, before you start to cook...
Ingredients
6 chicken wings
200 g wild rice
1 red pepper
thyme, parsley or basil leaf
3 cloves garlic, finely sliced
1 onion, finely chopped
ginger, finely chopped
1 chili, finely sliced
1 l chicken stock
extravirgin oliva oil
salt and pepper
Method
Keep the chicken stock warm.
Heat a large sauce pan with oliva oil and add the chicken wings. Keep cooking till the chicken wings start to be brown, then add onion, garlic and ginger. Cook gently at medium heat till is soft .
Add red pepper and chili, finely chopped and keep cooking gently a few minutes, then add the wild rice. Cooking for a few minutes then add one be one ladle with chicken stock. Season with salt, pepper and thyme. Continuous to add chicken stock till the rice is boiled then serve.
Sprinkle with parsley or basil leaf, finely chopped and extravirgin oliva oil.
