perfect pesto pasta

Bring a large pan of salted water to the boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the packet instructions. When it’s just cooked through with a little bite, drain in a colander, reserving a little of the cooking water.

Toss the cooked pasta in a bowl with your jar of Green Pesto. Taste and season if necessary. Add a little of the cooking water to loosen the sauce if it’s a bit thick and serve sprinkled with the Parmesan cheese and drizzled with a little olive oil and some fresh basil leaves.

Ingredients

• 1 x jar of Green Pesto
• 500g tagliatelle
• Shavings of Parmesan cheese
• extra virgin olive oil
• sea salt and freshly ground pepper
