No salt or pepper Jamie?
In a bid to be healthy, I tried to make a pure vegetable soup from a recipe I found here http://bit.ly/student-recipes-vegetable-soup - turns out that I need chicken in my life so I am glad I found this one. Will try this weekend!!

The vegetables dont go mushy at all....just chop into chunky pieces.<br /> It is a little bland though. I would add stock not just water next time.
So these vegetable cook on a medium simmer for at least an hour and a half? They'd surely end up as mush?<br />

in response to haley, why? It could not be any more simply put? I'm assuming you are a child. And commenting onthe web site colors to appeal to kids probably means that yellow & pink are your favorite colours. Not necessarily everyone else's.
this is a good recipe however it should be written in the form for a child to understand, it is way too complexed and maybe 12 year olds would like to make it. You should also change the website to bright yellow andpink to appeal to kids.<br /> P.S <br /> Your the greatest cook ever <br /> oxoxoxo
well in romania we think that peas has an important role in our health!we use peas for cream soup!your soup is great we call it serbian sour soup because instead of water we use a liquid made of grains which tastes so fineeeeeeeeee! in romanian is ''bors'' the name of the liquid
