If you drain the yogurt through a muslin cloth before whizzing it in the food processor, you will get a thicker dip and it probably won't have to be drained at all once done, even if it stands for a bit. I make my dip with garlic, coriander, mint, a bit of green chili and salt and pepper to taste and it usually is good.
