I am making this right now. Not sure where the Mexican children fit in, but they sure look lovely covered in the curry paste.

Can't wait to try them....

xDan
I am making this right now. Am going to steam all the veg then add them to the fried onion before heating everything together with the curry base. This way should keep the nutrients in the food. Am using brocolli, red pepper, mushrooms and sweet potato for my veg. Should be delicious! Can't wait to eat it. Best wishes from Belgium.
You add the 400ml of water around 2-3 minutes after you add the curry base.
Never mind the critics Jamie, You are a big favorite in Australia, and I'm sorry but in the land of milk and honey where everyone's a 'Foody' you are simply without doubt the Best!
Love your work! My kids who are now adults have grown up cooking with you, as a result they are the best cooks I know.
If you ever needed a Fan Club, it lives in my house.
Thankyou Jamie,
Colleen
it looked like the stuff that comes out my disco stick but is nice and sour. no hard feelings mate
Love it! keep up the good work
sounds delicious...where DOES 400ml of water come in?
Dear Doris...Stop worrying about proportions; it's all in the tasting!
sorry for being thick but where dose the 400 ml water come in???
Hi Jamie, great recipe - thanks! Keep up the good work - you inspire a lot of people to get cooking! Pity that there are so many others out there who abuse the use of the comments.
veg curry
Deek - That's disgusting you just put me off my vegetable curry!!
I love it I do, I really do, I do. I don't like what's in the toilet later on though LOL!1!1!! It looks the same but doesn't taste the same second time round. I thought I'd get to eat the same curry over and over but never mind.
Keep up the good work Jamie, god loves you and so do I.
i once ate a veggie curry and i was sick to the stomach i nearly died one time i used to eat a curry once a night until one night i rushed to the toilet but it was......too late i had done the buisness in my y fronts my y fronts actually overflowed with the weight at each sides it then proceeded to run down my leg and cause a great warm sensation afterwards i went for a jog to make myself feel better
your food is hot love it =]xx

Is there a link to the curry based sauce? and is it a mild one?
Also if you dont like zuccini or squash whats the other options.

I have lost my recipe for curried rice casserole. It had the following ingredients, but proportions have left me clueless. Ingredients were: Minute rice, green and/or red sweet peppers, chopped onion, curry powder, and fresh or canned tomatoes. HELP!! This was one of my family's favorites.
Nice curry!!
Yum Yum

Hi! Looking for a lemon pickle recipe I saw recently on a show in NZ (we get all the shows later I assume). It was an Indian pickle with lemon and black mustard seeds -- can't remember what else!

I just watched you cook a pot of white (cranberry?) beans w/bouquet garni. You served them with seared scallops and bacon. I can't find the beans recipe anywhere on your site or at Food Network.
Could you possibly email it to me?
Thanks,

i never try before but it look nice...i will try!!thank you!!^.^
its quite a nice recipe...butthe curry sauce gets really over boiled this way( 25 minutes when u make the basic sauce...and then another 20...)it just looses all its nutritional value!!
it's not bad it looks good but not that good at the same time coz the curry part is kinda discusting i've tried it myself!!! no hard feelings alright:b
P.S it stinks
do you not have to boil the cauliflower 1st
Tried your Mum's Pumpkin Soup delicious. Thankyou
jamie- love your work but don't work too hard xx
Just tried this dish, it was excellent!! I used the sauce and added lamb for my partner went down a treat.
i'm not so much into hot squash so i flip'd them for beansprouts -- twas amazing!
Clare, from the photograph it looks like plain boiled or steamed rice and cucumber with yogurt sauce. There are recipes for Greek, Middle Eastern, and Indian yogurt sauce all over the Internet.
what's the dish it's served with and is there a recipe?
Um, dude where's the curry base sauce recipe? link? thx
