FIFTEEN'S CHRISTMAS MARKET
The last Supper Club of the year, on the 15 December, welcomed back the Class of 2012 who had only graduated in September. Ebou Jobe, Michael Davies, Charley Hilton-Grant, Tony Phillips and Jerome Shakespeare all returned to cook a three-course meal. However, their meal had a twist. Rather than serving the paying general public, the 40 guests at the Supper Club were made up of people from the community that had been nominated by local charities to eat at Fifteen; free of charge as a special treat. The menu included celeriac soup, duck breast with Christmas trimmings and a chocolate orange tart.
The occasion was made particularly memorable becuase of Fifteen's Christmas Market, which was held on the same day outside the restaurant on Westland Place. Complete with a snow machine, the market had a range of street vendors selling delicious produce both to eat on the spot and to take home as presents, as well as mulled wine and hot chocolate. A local choir helped to top it all off with some festive classics.
