Sarah Burton

Sarah Burton is the Creative Director of Alexander McQueen and is renowned for producing collections with a focus on handcraft as well as artisan and technical excellence.  In 2011, Burton received global recognition for designing The Duchess of Cambridge’s dress for the Royal Wedding and in the same year received “Designer of the Year” award at the British Fashion Awards.  Burton has adopted similar techniques from her Autumn/Winter 2012 collection to create the Ant chair.
