The Big Chair Project

is the brainchild of the Better Food Foundation, the charity founded by Jamie Oliver. Back in 2002, Jamie established a unique and pioneering restaurant group, called Fifteen, that uses the magic of food to give young people a chance to have a better future.

We will use any personal information collected from the Website in accordance with all laws and regulations relating to the protection of personal data including the Data Protection Act 1998 (as may be amended) (the "Data Protection Act"). Personal information you are asked to supply during your registration and use of the Website including that you supply voluntarily ("Your Data"), will be used by us, and any service providers and other organisations involved in the Big Chair Project and by subcontractors, employees, agents and advisors (including legal advisors) in relation to the following: (i) the administration of your registration,( ii) your bids in the online auction and potential participation at the live auction (iii) any donations; (iv) participation in the competition and delivery of any prize; (v) for marketing purposes where you have specifically agreed to this; and/or (vi) as set out on the Website or the Terms and Conditions. In addition, we may at our discretion disclose this information to the police, regulatory bodies or any legal advisers in connection with any alleged criminal offence or suspected breach of the Terms and Conditions by you or otherwise where required by law.
