Barbecoa started life as a sketch on a napkin. Jamie had recently met Adam Perry Lang, the internationally renowned barbecue chef. A late night conversation resulted in the birth of Barbecoa, and the UK¹s first Barbecue steakhouse. The vision was for a modern restaurant with a traditional outlook, cooking the finest British meat in traditional wood ovens or over open fires. But with its breath taking location, theatre-style dining and beautiful food, that napkin gave no indication of how special Barbecoa would become.
