Barry Lewis was a cooking virgin when he started his YouTube channel in 2009. Working as a Quantity Surveyor during the day he would get home and practice his cooking, filming and uploading his videos as he went.
Soon his confidence in cooking grew, as did his passion for it. In turn his bravery to try new things inspired his audience who now venture into the culinary unknown alongside him.
His channel is filled with everything from how to cook a classic risotto to how to make a giant cream egg.
He cooks with hair straighteners and builders buckets, children and friends and his quirky style has seen his audience steadily grow.
His first book – Dinner’s On – can now be counted among his growing list of achievements.
